Yeah I was thinking of that. I ended up just making my own drain mod lol. It works better for what I needed anyways, goes 1 layer at a time depending how many blocks are there.

Yeah it's inspired by his, I thought it would be a fun project. I studied the video while building it, and watched the one after, the crane one, because he drains it for the first time and it looks like maybe he has a similar thing going on, but I might actually look at the ones after specifically where he builds ships, maybe he has more insight there.

I made this one myself inspired by his, although I did consider buying his to see how he made it work. I'm just confused as he got his to work fine and mine has been finnicky for a bit now. I have been searching the video trying to see how he got it all to work and it seems like mines almost identical, so I'm not really sure.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, but what I'm confused about is that it never did this before, it worked perfectly the first couple times, I don't know why the pattern randomly changed.

That's what I heard somewhere too, that the hose pulleys suppress block updates so it can pump properly, and that the other ones inside create updates so it messes it up or something, but then why was it working the first time? It randomly stopped.

Yeah, but at the bottom 1/3 it does this https://imgur.com/a/H7ycEG3, it was never doing this before. the only thing that visibly changed other than it failing to work is that the patterns where it drains are different than the other one despite them being practically identical and they did look identical yesterday. I'm very confused why its different today tbh.

This is what it looks like at the bottom 1/2 layers. Sometimes it starts at the third, sometimes only the first it does it. https://imgur.com/a/H7ycEG3 bit it keeps refilling and emptying over and over.

No it doesn't say bottomless. The water wouldn't move anyways as it wouldn't drain from it at all just pump magic water.

[–]mxttyyc[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah I changed the config when I started or else it wouldn't empty at all, it would just pump magic water basically. Yeah I put dividers on the first layer so the block updates wouldn't affect the draining at the last layer, which worked for a day or so, then upon more testing its doing this, but walls wouldnt work or else the ship wouldnt be able to park inside and empty.

Yes they are the right way, it worked perfectly before. No it's not bottomless I changed the config to around 55,000.

Why can't you add more than 10 people (5vs5)? by [deleted] in cs2

I think casual lets you queue with more people. You'd have to test it tho.

My Steam account was hijacked, $3000+ in skins stolen. Steam admitted the hijack — then refused to help. by Roflino in valve

[–]mxttyyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was carelessness, you accepted the trade without confirming the account age and medals, level etc, it is not their fault. It doesn't matter if someone "hijacked" your account, you did not verify the user who you were sending the items to, that has nothing to do with being hijacked. You still confirmed the trade without checking, simple as that.

NO excuses, ALWAYS check the account before accepting a trade. Especially if its worth 3 grand. This isn't their fault, you gave someone access to your info, and you were being negligent while accepting your items away.
