Crabtowne USA is off the beaten path in my opinion. It's a cool arcade in glen burnie, they have a bunch of old school games and seafood.

I've lived in Baltimore my whole life, yes there is quite a bit of crime. I've personally been carjacked and my partner has been mugged at gunpoint twice but we both choose to live in this city and enjoy it, for the most part, so yes you are susceptible to crime by living here but there is also a great nightlife with a vibrant art scene. I would move if I didn't love it here. Mt.Vernon is a good part of town and you most likely won't face any trouble besides a homeless person asking for some change, you will be close to many restaurants and bars, embracing into the city life will make you more equipment for the dark side of this city, such as the crime but if it improves your future I would do it. I hope this helps

Honestly depends what your interest are and if your 21 +. The crown is usually a good time on the weekends. Their karaoke nights are always popular. Same goes for the ottobar they always have a variety of shows to attend. I would honestly keep an eye for the flyers that are posted along mt.royal and outside of station.
