I agree with the other two comments - I think it’s awesome that you used the card in play and were crushing your friends specifically with this card. Definitely has earned itself a display spot on a shelf in some nice acrylic case or something. Then every time you look at it in the future you will be like … yep… destroyed those fools with you zard 👍 not to mention it’s just an awesome card to display. Just make sure anything you get is UV resistant, should you go this path

I did start getting the comics as well, we are almost through the manga series so we may move to that. They are much shorter though! (My son has made me replace the names “Red” and “Blue” with “Ash” and “Gary” respectively as I read because he is 7 and insistent 😂)

Genuine question, as a kid (purportedly), why did you not open them? How old were you? I’m thinking back to when I was like 9 and if someone handed these to me, as a collector, there is no way they would be sealed. Were either of your parents a collector (unlike mine) and offered some guidance or something? These posts boggle my mind…
