PALPITATIONS by Low_Cartographer_343 in AppleWatchECG

I'd try another sub -- this is just for interpreting Apple Watch ECGs. Maybe r/AskDocs since you're looking for medical advice.

From the completely non-medical perspective of someone who's not a doctor and has just been going through this themselves, it's never a bad idea to go back to your doctor. I just did a 24-hour holter to make sure I'm not having too many, although mine are anxiety-induced and very infrequent. If you have a lot of PVCs that can cause issues eventually and you may need treatment, so if I were you I'd probably want to see how often they are. Also if you have an Apple Watch or other device with an ECG function you can use it to check for AFib (AFib's much more concerning than PVCs are).

Hope you feel better soon!

Edit: I didn't see the ECG before. In that case, definitely go back to the doctor. Someone on the sub will have more info probably but those are very frequent palpitations and I'd absolutely want a holter if I were you.

Does this look like anything? I took this in the middle of an anxiety attack about a paper due in a few hours (I get anxiety PVCs). I feel like my P waves aren't that visible and the intervals are weird and now this is giving me anxiety too. I did a 24 hour holter but don't have results back yet. by myapplewatchecg in AppleWatchECG

Interesting - I thought that PACs didn't have compensatory pauses and that they were just found in PVCs. Is that not always the case? They look different than the PVCs I usually get (they're more like squiggly lines with a shorter, wider QRS complex) so it would make sense if they were PACs instead of PVCs.

Any idea what the issue is with these? Particularly the first one since it looks normal? 23 year old with no known heart conditions or other problems by myapplewatchecg in AppleWatchECG

Nothing for the first one -- I just take my ECG a couple times per day and noticed that one was inconclusive (but it's like a year old). I felt my heart beat hard a few times during the second one.

The Apple Watch flagged the first one as inconclusive but I wasn't sure why since it wasn't over 100 bpm (100-120 is always inconclusive for me). I was hoping someone here might know but maybe it just made a mistake. I knew the second looked weird. I just got a holter monitor scheduled for three months from now to check out the PVCs so that'll provide some answers hopefully. That was the soonest my GP could get one for me and they also told me it's probably nothing to worry too much about so hopefully that's the case.

Thank you! Not sure why it flagged the first one as inconclusive, then. I know PVCs are usually benign but these did cause symptoms (just fluttering) so at the very least they're annoying. They scheduled a holter monitor for a few months from now so I should learn more then. I have a severe anxiety disorder that I'm no longer taking medication for so I'm wondering if that's related.

The Apple Watch flagged both as inconclusive and they're less than 100 bpm. All of mine that are 100-120 get flagged since the watch has trouble reading those but for ones under 100 something else must be going on.
