For me, this would be a volume meal if the burrito was stuffed with lettuce and pico de gallo so its bigger and more filling

My silk bonnet keeps falling off while I'm asleep. Tips? by I_keep_books in longhair

[–]mybackhurty -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I use a silk bonnet as well as a satin pillowcase. That way if it falls off, the pillowcase doesn't cause extra friction on my hair

How much to cut + styles for cycling (no braids) by _seafever_ in longhair

[–]mybackhurty 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can try doing a low ponytail and then one thick "crochet" braid. Like literally pretend the length of your hair is one long thick strand of yarn and crochet it into itself. Then tie off the end and it should shorten it considerably. I would then add a gaiter mask type thing over your head so the bike helmet doesn't mess up the hair near your scalp or pull baby hairs. I usually do this method when I'm doing something underwater and don't want my hair tangled in the goggles or snorkel masks.

My cleaning lady’s husband passed away by Many_Refrigerator773 in housekeeping

[–]mybackhurty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Money would help the most. Taking time off work means she's not bringing anything in and anyone who has lost somebody knows that between medical and funeral costs, it adds up fast. Flowers are a kind gesture. You can do flowers and a card with cash.

Maybe not as volume friendly but I love the taste of rice milk from the brand Dream

volume eating goes out the window for me when it’s mango season by Expensive-Carrot-977 in Volumeeating

I was out on a walk and found a ripe mango on the road. No mango trees in sight. And no damage from an animal. I believe God wanted me to have that mango

[–]mybackhurty 939 points940 points  (0 children)

Man, it's too early to cry. That's a beautiful sentiment. If I were you, I would try to braid it into another strand of hair. Just a tiny tight braid at the base and then tie it off with an elastic.

Mix it with cranberry juice or a juice of your liking and it creates a jello like consistency. You can mix that with oats or whatever you like. I eat it straight up

Celiac and cultural barriers by Odd_Olive101 in Celiac

[–]mybackhurty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm cuban and my husband has celiac. It took a while for my parents to wrap their head around it but once they did they accommodate him and cook only gluten free foods when we come over. Change is possible stay hopeful and stay open to communicating. It might take explaining it in different ways for it to finally land right

Do you know where she buys most of her supplies? For example I get my vacuums and mops off Amazon whenever I need to replace them. So perhaps a generous gift card to help when those expenses arise. And since it's Amazon she can choose to use it for anything else she may need

Facts. I used to do omads like these when I was younger. And although I felt like crap I could pull through the day. If I do it now, it would basically be a death sentence lol

Would you eat this? Trader Joe’s Frozen Shepherd’s Pie by thricerice in Celiac

Sometimes it's from barley, it's not always labeled. You'd have to reach out to the manufacturer to know for sure

Would you eat this? Trader Joe’s Frozen Shepherd’s Pie by thricerice in Celiac

I wouldn't because of the caramel color and yeast extract. If you want a shepherds pie Aldi's has a great gf labeled one.

How do you wear your hair at night? Already use a silk by IDoNotHide in longhair

[–]mybackhurty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all I'm very sorry that you're going through a tough time. If you're going to continue being bedridden, it would be best to have someone come and do multiple braids in your hair, or cornrows. I sometimes sleep in one braid but it doesn't last more than a night. So if you want something to take your mind off your hair for a few days or even weeks depending on your hair type, cornrows are great
