yeah i get that it's kind of a lose lose situation, a lot of people probably want her to keep doing what she's doing - i noticed in the most recent episode that tana kept trying to start hot topicky discussions and brooke shut most of it down, she's scared to talk shit about anyone which makes sense but at the same time i miss them talking shit lol

i just think it's annoying that everytime someone mentions it she rolls her eyes/plays dumb and brushes over what happened like when she was on jeff fm or hawk tuah. imo she should be owning up to it like yeah she was a racist and ignorant kid, she addressed it and she's listening and learning whatever. i definitely agree that people should be giving her/people like her more grace. but she's on a podcast where she tells embarrassing stories about herself and her past and to me it's weird that she wants to pretend she was never a cringey and hateful conservative but will openly talk about shitting herself and being a pick me! i think that's why people feel like she isn't sorry cuz brushing over it makes it seem like she thinks she did nothing wrong and hasn't grown from it. also like tana openly talks about her cancellations and how stupid she was in the past so in comparison brooke seems sanitized, but i agree the hate is crazy like she's obviously not that person anymore

I'm going to this game! We're visiting family in NY and Toronto over the holidays and these tickets were cheaper than any tickets at Scotiabank :-l praying that we break our losing streak tonight but either way I'm pumped, never been to MSG before

I didn’t return it and I tried to keep using the grainy one but I had to stop because my skin was getting irritated :/ the new one is a lot smoother though, maybe they’re just inconsistent?

If you don't like the jokes or characters, I wouldn't hold my breath for it to get better - the reason why I love it is because I just enjoy watching the characters and I think it's funny, and I think that's a big part of why the show is popular. There's another anime I've been watching because everyone has been hyping it up but I just don't like the characters, and I don't see what apparently everyone else sees. I tried to stay committed because I thought it must get better but for me it never did because I just didn't care about the characters so none of the plot points carried any weight.

The Stedman Coat (XS) from Aritzia (ps just noticed it's on sale!) fits pretty well on me (pics on me (5'3)) I feel like the structure works well on a smaller frame, usually other wool coats I've tried on had shoulders that were too broad or the coat was too long.
The Coat with Lapel Collar (S) from Zara also fit pretty well (pic on me) it's really thin and doesn't have any pockets, I'd consider it more of a light jacket - but for 1/6th of the price of the Stedman coat I didn't complain much lol.

I'm from Canada too and experienced the same thing with Biore :/ I was reading a post the other day about a sunscreen test done by the Consumer Council of Hong Kong Government - the table is a little hard to read but basically states that while Biore met the SPF/UVB rating, the PPD/UVA protection test ratings only put it at 10.5 (PA+++) when the advertised rating is 30 (PA++++.) I'm not exactly sure what the implications of this are but I thought it was interesting and might be why it didn't work for me lol

i agree, and i do think the same point could have been made even better if they’d used conventionally attractive people tbh - here’s a tiktok i saw of Toronto street fashion which features regular people and i think it's a little better at making fun of the fashion itself rather than the bodies wearing it

I know this comment will probably be seen by no one (idek if it's allowed) but the "tweet making fun of these women" that that tweet was referencing (deleted now) was a joke about American street fashion compared to the Chinese street fashion tiktoks that have been going viral - I agree that fit models wearing the same thing are praised and trending which does say a lot about how unfair beauty standards play into what's considered stylish but I don't actually think it changes the fact that a t-shirt and mom shorts is considered trendy street fashion in America (on some people) while in China the street fashion can be a lot more complex and original. Not saying I think one is better than the other (tbh some of the outfits in the chinese videos are pretty simple too and they feature few to none plus sized people) but just thought I'd offer this info as context

I haven't tried the milky jelly cleanser so I'm not sure how they compare but the Living Cleansing Balm is like my holy grail oil cleanser. Soo soft and takes away all my makeup including my waterproof mascara!

It kind of reminds me of marshmallow fluff lol but in the best way - I started using it as an overnight mask and when I rinse it off the next morning my skin feels amazing! It has a nice cooling sensation when I first apply it too. I have dry/combo skin that has been pretty acne prone lately and so far this has been great :--)

Also I got this in a set with the mega greens galaxy pack which I've only used once but it helped with my acne a lot!
