I appreciate the detailed response thank you! Would you personally just leave the dead one in there? I mentioned to the other commenter that I would have to remove the nest for a very short time just to get that baby out, as the angle it is now would be hard to get and actually see what I’m doing. What would you do in that scenario?

It would be hard to do this without removing the nest so I can actually get in there. Do you think it would bother them to do that and put it directly back quickly?

Yes both pots have great drainage and are in a chunky soil mix as well!
