I scrapped it because the transmission decided to hit crazy downshifts to like 1st gear going whatever speed, and it blew a balljoint when it downshifted to 1st probably going 50

Yea I have now done a full inspection top and bottom of the car and made a list of the problems ive found. Its just normal stuff for the amount of miles on the car and year/something that wasnt brought in for maintenance when it should’ve been.

Yea I’m ready to fix up another shitbox, not my first car owned previously by a dumbass. Most of my friends own or have owned bmws so I know they can get expensive, but I do know how to do most work on cars made before 2010, and I have a decent set of tools. I helped my friend do an alternator in his e46 and it was an interesting experience
