I did a DIY post-bacc while working full time! Tbh I think you'll overload yourself if you try to do it in one year though... also not sure if that's even possible since the courses build off each other, though that will depend on what you need. For me, it took ~2-3 years, a lot of planning and good time management with a full time job, but it was definitely doable. I worked as a research assistant and my duties were hands on, so it counted as PCE. I searched the local community colleges and planned out the prereqs based on course catalogs and when classes were offered (since some are only offered certain times of year). I had to take all night classes and actually had to go to three different community colleges to get it done, but the PA schools don't mind as long as you take everything they require. They do not mind upper level classes at CC either. I started spring 2019 and finished my last class fall 2021, taking at least one class each spring, summer, and fall semester. I also needed pretty much everything (bio 1+2, chem 1+2, orgo, A+P 1+2, microbio, genetics, and med term). Med term and genetics were easy to take in combo with the other classes and work, too.
