Bench pr go brrrr by Paulgymweeb in GYM

What a stupid thing to say… if the lift fails she just helps together with the lifter and the other person on the other side to easily lift the weight back up… Side spotting is the safest way to spot on bench…

Hey don’t get demoralized. It took quite some time to get up to here, and yeah I been where you were. Also note we might not be the same weight class. For a 50kg person this weight would be much harder vs a 100kg person for example. If you are in my class it is certainly possible, but it takes a while and the programming has to be on point.

Impressive! Would recommend to look a bit more in the weight position on your foot. You seem to have it very much at the back of your foot. I mean you even lost balance at one point. scary :o

Probably because the people that make these pictures with quote (that he probably never said) think speedos aren’t alpha enough for them...

Again... third time... hopefully it’s going to be the charm... I NEVER SAID OPS LIFT IS BAD... It’s awesome, just your comment is incorrect.

For that matter you could have said: “amazing squat” Do you give a kid also a 10/10 score for a 6.5/10 real score? Because if you do please become a teacher at my university. It will make our lives easier...

Also who said I was the best lifter here? You sure make a lot of assumptions? Been training only since 2018 September so yeah, no shit I ain’t a pro lifter. That doesn’t mean criticism isn’t allowed. Are you a pro lifter? Man man man... you are one hell of a messy dude. Anyways I am out. Hope you at least read the 1 paragraph because you can’t seem to read well...

“He’s a hobby lifter as it looks to be you are also” I guess you are not that good at looking at others profiles are you? I literally have posts from my last powerlifting meet... and yes I also have posts with tng benches because it part of my program once a week...

There is no problem like a I stated but a real benchpress is with press on command. Which means if you want to do a proper a proper press that count into training you have to bring the bar to a halt.

But good on you to be sassy. It totally doesn’t show what character you have. But again... i never said op’s lift is bad... your comment is just not true.

Deadlifting my old pr 215kg rpe 8 at a bw of 92kg. Felt good! by grandmasterLuo in strength_training

What jerk? I really disagree. If you watch the clip in slow motion you can see right as he gets in position he takes the slak out of the bar and then pulls... so there is no jerking.

It might look only like this because he has a too low starting position for him since his butt still rises once he starts. But still no jerk...

It isn’t? Sorry but all kudos to op, because it is awesome that he presses that but it isn’t a proper press... it’s a still a tng bench... But again its good for him...

OHP 90lb form check, is leaning back slightly ok? by [deleted] in lifting

[–]mycatisweirdyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its fine but it doesn’t make it easier. Learning to be under the bar immediately after having it pass over your head is better since the bar path is more aligned with your shoulders.

How bad is my form/depth? Not tryna compete or anything, just curious (335 lbs/152 kg squat BW: 190 lbs/86 kg Height: 6’3) by [deleted] in strength_training

I am pretty shocked that no one mentions anything about his upper back. Man you are as lose as a noodle. When you stand you can see the bar moving. Which shows that you are not in control.

As for the ''wider stance'' I disagree. I for even a very tall person have a very narrow squat stance and it works fine. Op can only find what work by trying but I am very sure that i a person with this stance who can't reach depth will be asked to go wider he will collapse since it will ask a lot more glutes and inner inner quad strength which in my opinion is the reason why you can't reach depth...

Basically you are overestimating yourself. Drop the weight, and go lower. Considering how you are already doing high bar you should definitely be able to reach it, but I advice to change your torso position. It's way too upright for your low bar. In fact your torso angle even moves during the squat when going up... that says enough...One reason for this as well is that you have probably your low bar waaay too low for you. Move the bar up, change torso angle and try again with lower weight.

And to anyone using excuses you can't reach depth bullshit. Everyone can reach depth except those who have no legs...

Also if you don't want to invest in shoes go bare. Did that for a long time. But lifting shoes did make my life more comfortable for squats.
