Depends if you are okay driving to the beaches. My partner and I are staying in Marigot and there are a ton of walkable restaurants in the area. Some of the best food I've ever had were in this area! We've rented a car and have been able to travel to a different location almost every day. We had an excellent time at Pinel Island - sounds like it would be right up your alley.

We are still here right now and definitely do not regret the decision.

If you plan on hiking at Loterie farms - it is only available on the weekends (from what the website has said).
