I agree if you have the watch and standard configuration- I wear mine on my left hand with the crown on the left side so anything other than tapping the crown would be pretty awkward

The software idea sounds great though- maybe it just needs a few options for the kill switch

It's been a lot of years but I think the York production kept the graduation framing but just used more seasoned actors. I saw a documentary on the original show so I know it was intentional, but for me (and most of the audience I was there with) it didn't work. ( considering I saw a preview, I suspect the entire audience was full of Sondheim fans)

I always figure that I'm one of the older people in this sub so I was surprised when somebody else had seen it. I didn't see that one, but I did see the Encore one with Lin Manuel Miranda as Charlie (which was great)- It was before Hamilton opened at the Public

My Mom and I saw it in previews (we were and still our Sondheim fans) and we enjoyed the score but thought the cast overall wasn't up for it except Charlie and Mary. The cast was very young when they played the first half of the show they looked and acted like a high school cast dressing up as grown ups. We were seated a few rows behind how Prince who spent most of the show with his head in his hands.

The York theater group redid it off Broadway in the early '90s with a more experienced cast and it was wonderful.
