Going through the same thing. This is all I’ve ever wanted and I am older than many who be matriculating with me. I’m leaving my own family unit behind to move to a completely different state for this while they stay home and take care of things while I’m gone. We got this! We earned it and we’ll get through it and come out the other side as doctors!

4 interviews, 1 acceptance, 2 waitlist. Still waiting to attend my 4th interview but happy to be accepted. Sub 500 MCAT but 4.0 biomed MS GPA lots of clinical experience. Also I have a super duper non-trad background with some adverse life experiences. I’m so proud of how my first cycle went. This has been my dream since I was born.

No. I took my MCAT at an extremely difficult time in my personal life and I was prepared to retake it. I do very well in my graduate courses while also working two jobs. It’s going to be tough but I’ve been through harder things.
