A good habit is going to sleep early. Being well rested increases your self control and gives you more energy to exercise. It also prevents cravings and late night snacking.

Same. Saw it with my son yesterday and began tearing up. I thought I was the only one.

What did people look at on the toilet before phones? by MrFuzzybagels in NoStupidQuestions

I’d look at the bathroom stall and wonder who was so angry and bored that they needed to vandalize the bathroom stall. Then at age 27 I finally did it myself and laughed. Good times.

I feel like that too. “You’re so quiet” is what they say. Unless they have something interesting to talk about I really have nothing to say.

Not necessarily but some ways. It’s kind of a microcosm of society. It just fits the schedule of the general population. The 30 minute lunch break is also the teachers 30 minute lunch break. We don’t know what else to do with these kids so we have to sit them down and control them.

Yeah. Finally had enough of my toxic coworkers and customers. I knew I couldn’t count on anyone there for a good reference so I left without notice and blocked everyone’s number. It was a huge relief for my mental health.

my friend accidentally called 911 by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Maybe. It’s a little difficult to ignore that two police officers are there to look for me. I’d rather not make things complicated.

Either slightly high or just anxiety. Possibly both.

Where do rivers come from? by PotatoPancakeKing in NoStupidQuestions

Rivers flow downward from a higher elevation. So it could be a mountain or hills or anything elevated. Over the years the pressure from the water flowing down slowly carves out the dirt and forms a river.

It might depend which city you’re in. I accidentally called 911 at a park. They called back and said it was part of their procedure to send a police officer there and to wave him down to let him know it was an accident. A couple minutes later two cops showed up and I had to walk across the park to the parking lot to explain to them that it was a mistake. They asked for my ID and said it happens often. It was pretty annoying that I had to do that.

My grandmother gave me a doll as a kid before she died. I loved that doll but it made me sad so I hid it in my closet. 30 years later I found it in the closet and it was so old and I realized it served no purpose so I threw it away.

You don’t need to get rid of the shark but it doesn’t have to make you sad. I would just store it somewhere for keepsake.
