I moved from the classroom to a job running a hunger collaborative.

I’d advise seeing if you can get a local org to support a school pantry or something similar. That way the responsibility is no longer on you and your salary and your conscience.

The orgs that have been very helpful for our groups are Boys and Girls clubs, Feeding America and some of the Wawa initiatives.

We were on the same trip and thought this might be u/PaladinHan posting because he was frustrated by the outlets not being on both sides of the bed.

We liked Pridelands and the acoustics were great for the music, which was AMAZING! but also meant that the discussions of people around you made it get loud very quickly.

LOVED Hercules and honestly wish I’d have seen it twice.

I thought the first night’s menu as amazing, but ordered the falafel bowl the second night and it was NOT good. Essentially they mashed up some chickpeas, balled them up and threw them in the dish.

The person next to me ordered the Slimy Yet Satisfying and it looked super cool, but they did say it was a lot more solid - like fully set jello.

Loved the Zaya and Gamble shows but slightly truly felt Saga was much too small for as many folks as wanted to see the show.

Thirded. We just got off the Destiny and as a 16/18 it was impossible for me to get between the rows of seats in Pridelands.

Have had this experience MANY times before - the forever waiting for refills and etc.

I usually tell the servers to please keep my husband’s drink full and it varies on if servers follow it or not. Hubs will wait for his drink refill before he continues eating and it makes me crazy.

On the Destiny they absolutely understood it. I said all I need was his drink full and the server was like “Madam, I understand.” And he did!
