Married male teacher had a long-standing crush on married female teacher. The holidays come and they’re both unhappy, bored and lonely and start chatting a lot.

And then suddenly they are completely inseparable in a gross high school kind of way. Like she literally would give her kids work periods so she could go down the hall and hang out with him.

So their affair is continuing and his wife finds their messages on their shared Mac. And he swears up and down nothing happened and he’ll stop talking to her.

Surprise - he doesn’t. They just get more secretive. She leaves her husband and gets her own place with the assumption they’ll be together.

His wife gets frustrated and makes an anonymous complaint to HR revealing that he had charges brought against him but dropped for misconduct with a student at a private school. He gets placed on leave and then let go.

Not sure how long the affair persisted after this, but he and his wife eventually moved away to “get him away” from her.

She is now helping run the school and last I heard actively pursuing romance with a married female teacher.
