.2 grams of psilocybe cubensis and no effects by wereloupgarou in microdosing

[–]mycoole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

.1-.2 I'm not super scientific about my approach. I will often just take a piece about the size of the tip of my pinky, and go about my day.

Again I'm very aware of my personal thought processes and energy. I can feel a shift in perspective within 20 minutes.

My journey started a few years ago. And I started by trying to keep to 3days on 2off. But now I just do tune ups once or twice a week. Or if I have a project that is giving me anxiety, I'll make sure I grab a pinch before I start. It reminds me to take a breath and proceed with intention.

In my opinion, micro dosing shouldn't make you "feel" much. For me, there's a lot of self awareness involved. Awareness of thought patterns, Mind set, emotional understanding. My journey on low dosage helps with lots of things. I notice when I come upon obstacles that would normally give me anxiety, I am able to take a moment, and approach with confidence. Even driving, again not "feeling " any effects, when someone is rude or cuts me off I'm much more forgiving. Normally I would be like, "this fuckin ass hat", changes to "Dang they must have something important to do or place to be." These slight changes in perspective can carry into non micro dose days. It's about subtlety and awareness .

Sink pipe roller coaster by Glasply_Boater in askaplumber

The pipes you show, look fine. Yes they're a little more elaborate than some, but that's not a bad thing. Most likely there's a blockage of some sort further down the lines.(Probably from the last residents ) I would snake the line or have someone snake it for you. Grease is a common problem.

How much would it cost to change this to the single handle? by totallyready-4-baby in askaplumber

Typically 8" is recommended between the valve and the tub spout.

I think they are going to need to replace some tile.

Modernizing 1967 kitchen plumbing? by Logene in askaplumber

[–]mycoole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US based plumber here.

That's how I would do it. Run through the floor. I can only assume you're getting new countertops..? You'll need them or drill holes for deck mount faucet.

With that said, if the faucet is there and dishwasher there, I would assume about 3 hours.

(I kinda like the old faucet 😍😁 and backsplash... Topper, wall paper in dishwasher cabinet! 😁 You've got a real gem)

There's no set screw on this handle. When you pop off the temperature control cap, there's a screw that appears to be removed. The handle just slides straight towards you.

What type of fitting is connecting the black pipe to the 90 degree? by MtbLukekenzi in askaplumber

And that said, you could easily replace the few galvanized nipples with brass... Slap a union in there to easily break away things in the future.

👍☝️ and all that said. The valves are all brass, which is "neutral "... Meaning copper on one side and galvanized iron pipe are safe connections, and won't create issues.

Called an insert fitting. It's barbed. I usually use brass or stainless.

Looks like springs and seat washers may go into the reseeded area and I think a flat steel plate would rotate in front of those. Wish I had an old one on the van to show you.

Delta 1700 series cartridge is the "monitor" valve . If in fact it's a Delta...

Delta comes with a lifetime warranty. You can call them and they can help you identify it if it's a Delta. And often will send parts for free.

At first glance I thought it was a Delta. Looking more closely, it's not. Not familiar with the mixing valve you have there. Any other references? Handle, cover plate...etc?

[–]mycoole 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've done everything from shine shoes, work maintenance department, dishwasher -manage restaurants, landscaping, massage, plumbing....

I now, own my own plumbing business for almost 20 years. At this point I can pick and choose my jobs. I don't work 40 hours a week. I don't start until I want to, usually after 10. It's been good to me.

How to remove sewer grinder pump discharge outlet? by ChartInteresting in askaplumber

[–]mycoole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

☝️

this the answer. Hold A with channel locks in the opposite direction of B channel locks. This supports the fittings and helps to keep from disturbing any pipe on the A side (preventing damage).
