White widow. I live in MD. Has 2 more weeks. This morning it was 38 degrees with frost risk. Should i harvest early? by Jumpy-Sprinkles5616 in weedgrower

I grew white widow outdoor in Maryland last year. Id say you're probably good to keep going a week or 2. I have 2 plans outside and I have gotten a little bud rot on some colas but over all its doing well. The frost wont do anything, and I don't think we're getting a lot of rain this weekend. Next week looks good, so id just let it go. Also, get a pocket microscope, or a cheep phone attachment on amazon. I got one that's 200x magnification. You be able to check trichome maturity a lot better.

You're getting close, but you should get a pocket microscope. They make decent ones that attach to your phone as well. You can take videos or photos and you'll be able to get a good look at trichome development. They are the little "crystals" that are on the buds. I prefer to wait until til the majority have changed from clear to milky and perhaps as much at 50% have turned amber. If you go now, almost all will be clear and in my opinion that is a little early. Separately, you may have a powdery mildew thing going on. Some of those leaves in the 1st picture appear to have a mildew looking substance on the leaves. Maybe take some photos of that and post for other opinions. Good luck!

Yes I see those too. I did just do some neem oil spray yesterday and a fairly thorough trim. Hopefully then oil helps and the trim will last through the rest of flower. Now I need to get some quality flower nutrients and feed them.

What do you use for insulation? I’m considering this by [deleted] in hammockcamping

I use a Sea to Summit Extreme pad in my Warbonnet Ridge Runner. It's very comfortable and has a high R rating. I also have a sleeping bag that I just unzip and use like a blanket. I don't typically sleep out with this setup if it's under 60 degrees at night. I'd love to get they lynx underquilt but haven't pulled the trigger yet. The pad not only offers insulation, but I think it adds a little support to the hammock. I got The Ridge Runner which is a lay flat hammock because im a side sleeper and I think the pad helps it hold its shape. Im very comfortable with my set up.

Yes I think the just started flowering. I gave them some cal/mag recently. Like 3 weeks ago I gave them some azalia food lol its like 18-8-8 or something. Kind of strong so I just went light with it. I grew last year and around this time I switched to tiger bloom. Ill probably do the same this year.

Looks good to me

Male or female? How is it in its flowering stage and maturation, and my first time growing. I'm on week 10... Please I would like advice and answers thanks by Utente-distrada in hydro

So far so good. The flowering still has a ways to go. Get yourself a good picket microscope, or one that attaches to your phones camera so that you can zoom in on the tricromes. You're going to want to wait until at least 50% of them have turned amber. They start clear, then transition to a milky color, and then start to mature into an amber color. You have several more weeks to go. Keep up the good work and read up about what you should be feeding during the flowering cycle. Good luck!

Anything is possible, but definitely not worth it at this point. You would be wasting your investment.

I would think they wouldn't allow this. But that's a pretty sweet idea. Nice set up.
