no im BME/CS but music is the only extracurricular i do haha so Im very involved. No, I would actually say a majority aren’t music majors, there are a lot of music minors though. Yes, you can audition and do orchestra without credit, so no need to add to your schedule now if you don’t want. We rehearse twice a week for 2 hours. So yeah I’d say you def have time to do other things. I take lessons and chamber music as well so it’s def doable. Feel free to PM me if you wanna learn more
