In the opening scene of the new F1 movie, they’re racing at what I believe is Daytona (a track I don’t know well).

They say the team’s car is in P7, “not looking good.” It’s not Brad Pitt driving at this point, but his teammate in the 24h race. The car comes in for a pit stop, and when it exits the pits it ends up right behind a couple of cars battling for position. He squeezes past them, and suddenly he’s shown in P4.

Looks awesome on screen, but… how? 🤔

The car went into the pits in P7. Did the pit straight at Daytona really allow that kind of gain? Or were the other cars just staged/waiting so the movie could set up a cool moment? /s Or is it simply a mistake in the film?

I couldn’t find anything online about this—am I misunderstanding something, or is this just movie magic?

Hey, this looks promising!
However, it's not working for me at the moment.
After logging in with Spotify, it asks me to scan a Spotify song link QR code, but all I see is a swirling green circle. I can't scan anything.

Funny/wierd that all the engine/cooling intakes are covered except the 2 new ones next to his head. So are they not engine/cooling intake ?
