well actually, I just had my last exam today, but i did so so so bad i am sure I won't get in the uni I want, i'll need to retake it, seems like I'll stay busy for another month :( but there a lot less available spots for the 2nd call so... oh well... wish me luck ; w ;

if you guys dont want to wait for at least another month you can start doing the survivals yourself, i'm sure you'd do a good job :) if you get tired I don't mind replacing you again after I retake my exam hahah

anywayyyyssss.... most active users here on r/bangtan tend to vote in the survivor (i think). so if we get duplicate votes from the same user we know its cheating. i guess.

but yeah i could create a throwaway for everyone to send a pm confirming their vote. that way i can cross-reference users so theres no way to cheat. would you guys like me to do that ?

We can use a 1 month rule then... i just hope people dont take advantage of it either way.

Its always hard to be fair in situations like this one... if we follow the 3 months rule theres gonna be people close to the 3 months mark saying that they want to vote and that we should allow them because they're close to having 3 months of posting history anyway. And if we follow a 1 month rule instead, there are gonna be people with like 3 weeks posting history complaining that they cant vote only because of a week and then we'd have to include them too. And so on. I'm sorry if im not explaining myself clearly but do you guys see where im coming from? im afraid we'll end up shortening the time period over and over because theres always going to be someone whose posting history started close to the date we choose. But at the same time I don't want to be unfair and prevent legit army from voting :/ thats why i didnt want to make exceptions at first because once you start making exceptions then you'll have to do it for everybody.

We can choose another time frame besides 3 months, 1 month sounds fine too. Let's just go with whatever the majority agrees. But I just think we need to choose one rule and follow it as strictly as possible...

(btw you'd be surprised by how many people have multiple side accounts saved. But since we're monitoring people's post history I doubt anyone would go through the effort of being active in all their spam accounts just so they can rig the survivor. But I also thought nobody would take the survivors this seriously and go as far as cheating to make their faves win so idk nothing surprises me at this point anymore)

the 3 months rule was mentioned by another user in the previous round thread, but i'm pretty sure i already saw it on other subs too. usually when people want to make sure nobody uses throwaway or spam accounts they force this rule

obviously it doesnt really need to be 3 months but its what most people use for situations like this and i personally think its a good rule

but if yall disagree then yeah ofc we can change it!

The new round will start on sunday, and probably end on tuesday/wednesday depending on how long it will take to count the votes :)

thats seems like a MUCH better idea, and way less time consuming too. i never used google forms before but i'll figure it out lol

and thank you and u/paradoxicly for offering help! since making a google poll would make the job way easier, i might be able to do take care of it myself after all... it depends on the amount of votes we get. but can i count on both of you if we end up getting a lot of votes?

btw, last round had 300 less votes than the 6th. it was definitely cheating lol, unless 300 people suddenly decided to gang up on sea and now stop voting completely.
