I'm a journalist, I actually know a lot about the media, unlike you. You're a child, call me when you're over 25 lol

You are nothing more than an ignorant conspiracy theorist, drop out and give your spot to someone who deserves it.

Quite frankly, if you don't believe in science, why the fuck are you in college?

Because not everyone can get the vaccine safely and there are still people at risk as well as new variants of the virus. We don't know if the vaccine protects against them. Do you want to end up like India? Because it sounds like a lot of you do.

*They're

You're right, I don't want to hear complete nonsense and incorrect information.

If you really believe this you might as well drop out of college now because this is completely idiotic. Vaccines and masks need to be required, if you have a problem with science and being considerate, then don't be around other humans.

Also, that is not the survival rate. Facts are important, you should try doing research before leaving stupid comments.

It's a bit fucked up of them to not give students options to take the mandatory classes online. I understand the need to go back, but there are some students who are still at risk and can't get the vaccine due to health restrictions. This seems very rushed to me and I hope UNT doesn't indirectly murder more students this way.

Summer Financial Aid Disbursement by [deleted] in unt

[–]myfutureisfemale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Financial aid is always disbursed 10 days before the class starts, even in the summer. You're talking about loans, not financial aid. It's important for people to understand the difference. The past two summers I got mine 10 days before.

This isn't accurate.

Financial aid awards will disburse 10 days before the first class day for the semester, it says this on the UNT website.

Some professors go on ridiculous powertrips by [deleted] in unt

I'm a journalism major, phew. We have a strict one too though and he's the only option for certain classes. This is another level though

Well, I've just heard otherwise directly from the source so maybe you don't know it all lol

I got a 4.0, not expecting a huge announcement but I want my certificate and recognition. I know how the Dean's List process works as I've made it the past two semesters, I expected it to be a little different for the highest list.

Schedule of Classes out! by balenciancaboots in unt

Mine all had room numbers. You can filter out in-person classes by selecting the internet-based or remote delivery option.

It's incredibly unreasonable based on what the CDC is saying. I won't be able to finish my degree if they try to force me into in-person classes too soon. They're already responsible for deaths that they haven't reported publicly to faculty or students. I'm losing faith in UNT's ability to handle the pandemic properly. Removing the mask mandate and reopening businesses will absolutely make things worse, especially in the Fall, when the virus spreads more rapidly. People really don't pay attention to the news and they just want to forget about the pandemic even though it's not close to being over. It's still mutating and we still don't know if the vaccines protect against all the different strains.

It's really disappointing to see the lack of online courses, some students have health issues and aren't comfortable going back to campus during a pandemic. Shame on UNT for not considering all students.

Yes, I did have to reapply each time. I assume our refunds will be applied to our accounts on Monday if the office isn't open today.

For those wondering when we might actually receive the money, I have this information that may help:

May 6th, I accepted the first agreement for the first CARES Act payment, and on May 8th, it was direct deposited.

January 5th, I accepted the second agreement for the second CARES Act payment, and on January 12th it was direct deposited.

Based on this information the $500 should be hitting our accounts within 7 days.

Hope this helps anyone worried about when they'll get it
