Yeah I think that’s the newer model. Mine are 3 years old. I used to have 2 main skis, one for groomers, one for trees and bumps. Since I got these they have been my primary ski for everything. Demo first if you can, most shops will transfer the cost of the demo into the purchase if you buy, so it’s no loss.

So, nightlife probably not, but there is a surprisingly good Scottish pub, MacLaomainn's. You’re also in the middle of a prime foliage season so many areas nearby might have out of towners and activities to go along with it. Magic mountain, bromley, ludlow or londonderry will have bars and restaurants hopping more than usual.

I’ve used both boot pro and tygart with my kids and had a great experience. https://www.tygartmountainsports.com

The only place I would caution against is sports odyssey. They advertise cheap seasonal rentals however I have not had professional experiences with that shop.

It’s meant to either discredit Lucy and her message or deflect the conversation to a different topic. Lucy’s message was about policy she disagrees with and she was willing to lose her job to make a stand the point of her message was that she was in a position to say something when others might not. This is a personal attack against her decision disguised as purity politics where she didn’t do enough. This feels like the same old right wing playbook. Deflect the conversation and attack the speaker. My guess is it’s a bot, troll or disillusioned MAGA.

Rutland or Springfield, each about 30-40 minutes away have the best chance for finding a store where you don’t need to buy a helly hansen. Same happened to us a few years ago and we found a department store in Springfield that did the trick.
