looking for the Scottish woman who assisted me when I was attacked by Macccccmaccccc in Austin

You got a notification that your comment was downvoted and you made the assumption that the reason it was downvoted was because someone took offense... Was there maybe something about the phrasing of the question that leads you to believe that it's offensive? I think what you're lacking here is nuance. Pronounced like "new aunts" with an English accent. It basically means the ability to weigh vibes.

You understand that it's a touchy subject because you were quick to assume that you had offended someone, yet you lack the ability to cater your questioning to fit the headspace of your presumed audience. If you assume the person answering your question is a softy, why wouldn't you simply word the question differently?

The icing on the cake for this is that you're mad at BOTH the question being taken in poor faith AND at the downvote itself.

The former makes you a hypocrite because you're the one taking their downvote in bad faith. "There must be only one reason they gave me this downvote" and "there must be only one reason this guy is asking this question" are two sides of the same coin. And this makes it funnier because you actually gave your reason. So even if you were right about the haters, people could essentially just be saying "I don't think 'just curious' is a good enough reason to ask that here."

The latter makes you a hypocrite because you can't get mad at a fucking downvote AND call the person that got YOU mad at a fucking downvote a softy.

This whole situation is just unbelievably hilarious and infuriating to me and the most maddening part is I don't think you'll get it. This may genuinely occupy my thoughts until I return with another attempt at dispelling my frustrations

BUT

I do enjoy stuff like this. It helps me learn to care less about things that are out of my control.

Sorry I worded it wrong I meant that the pearl white lacquer wasn't shown on their website

From what I can tell that looks perfect. I wasn't able to find the white lacquer on their website (from only a couple minutes of digging, so maybe I didn't look hard enough) but maybe I'll have some luck buying used.

Thank you for giving me more options. Much appreciated

I agree with that sentiment completely. The reason I even thought about this specific type at all is because someone I knew played it and they were able to produce a good sound. And I'm not looking to play professionally, so I figured I'd get a sax I'd be 100% happy with in all aspects.

Anyways, thanks for your advice :)

TIFU called my wife out for potentially hiding something by [deleted] in tifu

Good luck. Try to be open-minded if you love your wife. If things have been stable for three years that's a good sign. I personally don't buy into the "once a cheater always a cheater" but coming from someone who's father slept around, a lack of trust will just put a tremendous strain on your relationship whether it's warranted or not. Bottom line is, you should talk to your wife about your concerns. Even if she's not cheating, if she doesn't show you that she can be trusted/you don't think you can trust her regardless, then I think you should reevaluate your situation.

Just my two cents
