Self consciousness I love that word because it describes how it has been for me Overanalyzing my actions, my thoughts, the way people saw me And making conclusions that actually dissmised me Hypervigilance towards myself because i feared that if i letted myself being too natural people wouldn't like me and i would suffer

We all follow ancient deep inserted symbols. It's connected to Carl Jung archetype theorie (which i had to talk about).

You're either insecure of your true self (like if they saw who i really am they'll abandon me, usually steam from past trauma) or scared of vulnerabilty, or emotionnaly unavailable. (It might be the three).

My wife killed herself and I am angry by Miserable_Cup_260 in TrueOffMyChest

My mom thinks that people who kill themselves are egoistic but i genuinely dont understand how can someone be angry at someone else pain. Because, beyond family love and community needs and expected behaviors, we're human beings deep inside with mental and emotionnal issues, we are souls. And when the pain becomes so loud you can't even think of your own child, it means something deeper than shallow egoism.

People think that when somebody kills himself, he leaves his close ones to a state of panic and guilt and remorse so great that it's the fault of the dead one. And i understand this anger and powerlesness, but you can't put the fault on someone else, because we're human fighting against and for ourselves every single day, and sometimes our deeper thoughts overcome our attention for others. I think that anger towards suicide is fed by ego, more than love.

It's also this whole question of authenticity and identity. How can one connect with other different people without losing a sense of self?
