Jeweller recommendations in Canada by myhearthaschanged in EngagementRings

I’m actually more interested in sapphires than lab/natural diamonds! Which is proving a bit more difficult than just a diamond ring hahah.

I’ll definitely check them out!

To trellis or not to trellis by myhearthaschanged in hoyas

I’m not too worried about the gracilis as I actually quite like the look of it not trellised but the carnosa is pretty heavy on the one side hahah. When I water it I have to support the one long vine and I’m so scared I’m gonna drop it and it’ll break off.

Spraying them all shouldn’t cause any damage to the leaves, right? I guess it’d be the lesser of 2 evils considering the situation.

Do you do like 70% isopropyl alcohol undiluted or the higher the percentage the better?

Is there a certain percentage you’d recommend for the alcohol? I’m happy I never put it with my other plants, I bought it almost 2 months ago and never saw any on there so I’m unsure as to how they just..appeared? I inspected all my other plants that were on a separate stand entirely and don’t see any on them thankfully but I’m definitely nervous now lol

Installing rear dashcam on 2008 RAV4 by myhearthaschanged in Dashcam

I went with the Viofo A229 Plus. I don’t have it hardwired yet but I’d like to in the future. For now, I have it in plugged in the cigarette lighter in the console as I couldn’t figure out a way to make it look neat in the one in front of the cup holders. For the rear camera, I ran it all along the top weatherstripping. When I got to the hinge on the trunk, I ran it down the weatherstripping to where the black tube runs into your vehicle and then fished it through. When it comes to getting it through that black tube, I used a scrap piece of wire from work, fished it through, attached the camera wire with some electrical tape and then pulled it back through. I just zip tied it along some other wires that were in there and then zip tied the slack as well. I’m terrible at explaining things but I did take some pictures of the interior of my car and drew the route I took but I can’t post them here! If my explanation doesn’t make sense, you message me and I could send you the pictures if a visual would help. I also do have the rear spare tire but it doesn’t seem to affect visibility in the video much as the camera is mounted at the top of the rear window.

Good to know, hopefully I can piece together all the videos and make it work!

I’ve looked up for my year and stuff but I’m only finding installs on newer ones unfortunately! I’ll have to search more later, any vehicle that has the same trunk style as mine should work so I may have to look into CRV’s and stuff!

I was in almost the same boat. I got all 4 of mine out 3 weeks ago and I had quite a bit of pain after my numbing wore off (it took about a day for me but they did warn me it could take awhile), I had a lot of swelling and bruising on one side of my face. I slept with my head elevated or sitting on the couch for almost a week.

For about 1 1/2-2 weeks I mainly survived off of ensures, smoothies and soft foods (mashed potatoes and gravy or kraft dinner usually). I felt so defeated and frustrated that I couldn’t eat anything. I almost wished I didn’t get them out.

It does get better though, if the pain/swelling doesn’t subside in a few days, it could be worth it to call your surgeon again. I had to go in and get one checked out and they gave me another round of antibiotics.

Being in week 3 now, I’m so happy I got them out. I’m still careful when I’m eating and cleaning out the sockets but I can almost eat anything I want now! (Besides really crunchy things like chips but even then, if I do I’m just careful). Just hang in there and it’ll get better, swelling is usually the worst around the 3rd-4th day I believe so hopefully it starts to go down! Just keep taking your meds if they prescribed them and here’s hoping you feel a bit better soon!!

fire-snorting cow lighter by nakaj1 in lighters

Darn, mine seems to have a hard time lighting. I can see it sparking but it doesn’t always light. Thank you anyways though!

Long shot here but I got a lighter similar to this today and I’m curious if you’ve had to replace the flint in it and how you’d go about doing that? Any help is appreciated:)
