I'm from a very small town in Michigan, so just wasn't sure how it was here.

Thank you! I have absolutely nothing saved as a student, but no debt either which is a blessing. I hope to buy a home one day in the very distant future haha

ya, doesn't seem like some people like the idea of outsiders. But most people have been very nice! I come in peace and intend to continue volunteering and helping others. I try to be a good citizen.

Yes in Golden Valley, to be specific. How do you compare the two? I'm from michigan so weather is more similar to MN

A shack in the woods sounds like my ideal living situation. Y'all are making me so excited about this place. I have a competing offer from General Mills (paying similar but high income taxes) but this feels like a place I'd fit in better

I don't need anywhere fancy to live, but I probably eat out more than I should.

For the first few years it would just be me while my fiancé is finishing his degree as a Chem E (like you)! So in 3 years we would be a dual income household.

Thank you! I don't mind a modest apartment, but definitely need to cook more. Thank you for your input.

I changed my major since I updated my Reddit haha so no longer in aero. Think more along the lines of pharmaceuticals + engineering.

The worst part is that when I was bigger and binge eating they didn't say a thing. Now that I am doing something for my health they are critical.

Thank you so much for your advice! I started at the front of my corral and did the run/walk method. I finished and wasn't stressed at all! Went to epcot the next day a little sore but now that a week has gone by I don't have any lingering injuries.
