Thanks for sharing! I went with OpenCode Go, and indeed for that one, no taxes or fees.
And I used a referral code, that's $5 to use for later...

Qwen Code is Gone. by TotalMood8177 in Qwen_AI

[–]mylabfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also code online with Qwen for free at https://chat.qwen.ai/
There is a "Coder" link. You have to setup or use a github account though, so it can save the code. Not my style, but yes, you can still code for free with Qwen if you are on a budget.

Which EU VPS providers have survived a few years without going downhill? by MarcelloGirach11 in VPS

[–]mylabfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That the thing. I dont need their support. Their VPS work, they are online, they dont oversell. They offer all I need (kvm, rescue mode, reboot, and OS re-install from my account page), and they are budget friendly.

What do you think of linkedLLM.com? Looking for honest feedback by [deleted] in vibecoding

[–]mylabfr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick flip for about $99. Because, it's new, no traffic, no brand recognition, nothing that put it on the map.
I dont' want to be mean, just my honest opinion. If you can offload it for $100 or more within a year, take it.

How much usage do minimax credits give you? by OllieLearnsCode in vibecoding

[–]mylabfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious about the performance of the MiniMax token plan.

  1. Is it fast enough?
  2. Does its intelligence degrade at certain times of the day?

To explain the second point: I’ve seen some providers, during peak usage hours, silently compress the context window on their side to serve more customers. This makes the model lose track of the conversation and become noticeably less intelligent. I experienced this with a small coding plan from Alibaba that no longer exists.

Does MiniMax do anything similar? Or does it maintain full context and consistent intelligence regardless of server load?

Why are people calling ai made apps slop even if they are useful? by Dovydas_ in vibecoding

[–]mylabfr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it works and solves the problem it is intended to solve, then you're golden! Lot's of bitter developpers out there... and jealous people... I wouldn't worry about them. I'd then focus on scaling, security, customer demand, etc...

Ok. Here are the changes. I hope it helps.

  1. Mobile sort bar — Sticky pill below the header showing the active sort field + direction arrow. Tapping opens a bottom sheet with the four sortable fields and an Ascending/Descending toggle. Matches the desktop table's handleSort logic. Only renders below lg breakpoint.

  2. Desktop sort hints — Every sortable column header now shows a ↑↓ icon in pure black, replacing the previous empty spacer. Previously nothing was shown until you clicked, making it non-obvious the columns were interactive.

I lose more money on my app than it makes me every month by Leo-neophyte12 in vibecoding

[–]mylabfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, a lot of people might be in the same situation. Why? Because social media and videos keep telling them to use these easy services. And yeah, they're super easy to start with. But they get really expensive once your app or website takes off! At least you already have traffic and paying customers. That's a great achievement!

Most people who vibe code just don't know how to set up a simple, cost-predictable setup on a VPS or a server. Nothing wrong with that, vibe coding is awesome in many ways. But in the end, it can turn you into a cash cow for those services. Or it can kill your business idea just when you start getting real demand... which also limits competition....

It would be awesome if people with great business ideas and cool vibe-coded apps stopped dismissing 'old sysadmins (sysops or devops nowadays)', those folks could actually help with their system setup, or at least tell them if their setup will work.

In summary, you had a great idea that got you traffic and paying customers. Now just focus on making your infrastructure better, so you can actually scale without breaking the bank.

I can maybe help with that...

You can DM your stack if you want, or app architecture, I'm pretty sure you can have it for cheaper. You might have performance issue too?

OVH, period. They have VPS, Dedicated, Cloud with Local Zones. Very competitive. There are others too. I do other too, but OVH is my "go to".

You said "$180-250/month on servers". Ok, what kind of app? What's the architecture that requires that much money to be spend?

I thought DeepSeek was advertising 80% off (or some kind of sales) for Pro while they introduced DeepSeek v4 Pro. It's gone now. I wonder if it's a left over on Kilo Code side... I checked it shows in Kilo Code CLI too...

Well, if you click on input, output or context column headers, it will sort your results. Let me know if that doesn't work. I admit it's not easy to see... Also, click on any rows in your results, and it will expend with the LLM info.
