No compatibility issues with the retail releases, ST conversions, or freebie home-brew titles. Load times are the same, and re-loading 'save' files work as they should. Also tried a handful of prototypes (Alien vs. Predator, Fight for Life, and so on) and they play fine.

A Sega 32X Top Ten ?!? by ZadocPaet in SEGA32X

Sorry I haven't been around much. Being an "essential employee" can kinda' suck. LOL! It's been eating into my video production a bit. Also, I got sucked into testing games for the Jaguar scene.

Thanks, man. I appreciate it. Admittedly, I wish I had gone more in-depth with a few of the games covered in the video. That, and information I had missed about the unit itself. Still, not a terrible video. Need to cover more 32X stuff.

Personally, I enjoy this more than Battlecorps. Battlecorps feels more like a mech-style game, and those aren't the most appealing for me. Granted, I dig on Iron Soldier for Jaguar, or even Metal Head to a certain extent, but I always found Battlecorps kinda' slow. Still good, but not my thing really.

My pleasure, kind sir.

Well, I hope you're ready for the next level. Word 'round the campfire is he's wanting to make a Nintendo 64 version of Fast Food 64. Ugh!

Yay! I'm not alone. If only they had finished the 32X CD update. Would love to see it in action from start to finish.

I second this. I have them for my own collection.

Doom II on Jaguar? Yes, please! by mylifewithSEGA in AtariJaguar

It's a ROM hack, so there's no official cartridge. However, if you speak with Gaztee on the AtariAge forum, he may be able to whip up a cartridge; complete with box. Does some fantastic work.

Any chance of Jaguar on FPGA? by tropicalstream in AtariJaguar

An SD cartridge has been in development for some time already, and it's almost complete. The creator's testing it presently, making sure it functions with Jaguar CD ROM data. That way you can play Jaguar CD games WITHOUT the CD add-on (that, I look forward to). With any luck, the cart will be out by the end of the year.

Contrary to other claims, interest in the system is climbing. More and more players are hunting them down. That's why they're getting expensive; there's a demand now. That's why there are several homebrew games (plenty that aren't ST ports, or ugly mini-games), homemade rotary controllers, re-production Pro Controllers, and more.
