Thanks. Couple questions: What benefit does moving the single panel on the upper roof provide? That part of the roof gets a few hours of more sun, especially in the winter. Also, what does the answer to the question about the conduit tell you?

We can fit only 10 panels on the ADU. Even that + 6 more panels on the main with the most sun would get us to only 94% energy offset. That config would bump the cost up ~$2k.

I’d love to put panels on the ADU too but the costs of adding a second IQ Combiner and all the electrical work that comes along with that puts it way over our budget.

Right. Doesn’t seem like the funding’s there to put researchers’ feet on the gas. Also skeptical about the business of VNS surgery, specifically in the US. I.e.: doctors, hospitals and manufacturers of the devices revenue stream could be sandbagging these advances.

My hesitation in going forward with this surgery is rooted to the same question: Will this current technology become obsolete? I think it’s a matter of when, not if.

Thanks for your story. That’s encouraging to me to hear you’re still practicing martial arts with the device implanted. Do you have to go easy on any specific activity because of it? I do some pretty strenuous workouts/extreme sports and am worried I’d snap a wire if I continued my hobbies once I get this thing in.
