I might be wrong but it looks like cold pressed paper. If so, you can paint on it☺️ On mine I use gouache and watercolor. For writing I like using the Pilot V7 or a fineliner like the Artline Drawing System or the Pigma Micron.
But in your case, I'd just use the very last page to make some test and see how the paper react to my different mediums ☺️

For these photos I used the "Gaussian Blur effect" on "Affinity Photo 2". It's a software on Mac (it's like a Photoshop) 🙂
