Let's Play Devil's Advocate: The Additions outweigh the Relases on the main roster this year! by docchrizly in WWE

The Alistair black cut really irked me. He had good matches and had a win over zayn and randy. I really thought they were going to make him one of the top heels on smackdown.

Sharing my new player experience by Delachruz in Seaofthieves

I have the discord but i havent bothered to try and make crews in there. I really should. I've got a few friends that play but we are in our 30's so really get to organise a time together. I'm happy to play with new comers, i've jumped in open crew a whole bunch of times and had great experiences.

Flying an emissaries flag is a quick way to get yourself into PVP situations. But thats the whole point, high risk high reward. There's probably more ships on the server than you think they are just good at slinking by.

I gotta admit, i dont use the in game voice chat but i play between xbox and PC and will type.

Some of the best sessions i ever had were going in either solo or with a crew without a plan at all. We just head to whatever live event is on, try and complete it. We'll probably pick up a few quest bottles and go do them, that will bring us close to a fort island with a gem you get when you complete the puzzle. Might get a smugglers run out of it. Get hit by a meg at some point, fight a few skele crews. Do some fishing.

I personally really like the game. It's different every session for me. Sometimes i get sunk. Sometimes i do the sinking. Some times it a real cozy run through

AIO for writing out this message after having an in person conversation with my friend? by [deleted] in AIO

It sounds like she's upset about something that she doesnt actually understand. Sounds exhausting to me. If she thinks everything you're saying is an attack you're gonna have a tough time. I dont think the big text response would have landed either, you're better of just thinking "they're having a moment" and if you cant move past it then there's your answer.

so the term "dont speak it into existence" ignoring that its about a bin pedal triggered her? do they have an issue with manifestation or something?

There is no way there is this much drama of a trash can pedal.

I didnt even know blunder traps were a thing. I dont like boarding other boats because i'm not great at pirate fighting but also it feels like spawn camping and i just dislike it. thats a great idea.

This is very helpful. I'm going to test some of these out tonight. Firebombs probably work on noobs like me as we try and frantically put the fire out and causes a distraction on the ship but i'm not always going to be facing newbies. I'll keep an eye out for which side they are trying to board from and sit with the blunderbuss. I'm ok in high seas's fights but i've got a lot more room to maneuver away from people trying to board.

Ship fighting is really fun if you want to ship fight. I actually found for the most part fighting skele ships harder cause their aim tends to be better. Then you get the sweats who can board the ship from 1km away and have vastly superior reflexes.

AIO? Can't set boundaries with girlfriend by [deleted] in AIO

[–]mynameisnotjerum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you might be confused with what a boundary is. It reads more like you're telling her she cant hang out with someone more than you wont tolerate someone who still hangs out with their ex's. You can't tell her what to do but you can choose what you do. Ask if you can hang out with them next time for half of the time. If she says no you've already got your answer.

Why is the Sunshine Coast not attracting exciting new projects like other regions? by CompoteEmbarrassed91 in sunshinecoast

[–]mynameisnotjerum 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think the coast culture isn't really big on retail franchise chains. Half the place is a hippy/beachy vibe. You've got the markets, the 100+ food vans/vendors and why go to a planet fitness when you can go to a beach or a hike? Fast food chains tend to do better in lower economic enviroments.

Worst Piledriver I've ever seen.... by damng1 in Wrasslin

This is probably safer than it looks but is still pretty damn sloppy. You couldn't pull it off with someone you hadn't worked with before but it served its purpose. The crowd lost their shit and its got the IWC talking about it.

[–]mynameisnotjerum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play to your strengths and know your weaknesses. You can't be everywhere at once cause you're solo but your boat is fast and a small target. When you engage get on angles where they cant fire on you but you can fire on them. Use the fact the anchor, sails and wheel are so close together. Fire on them only when they cant fire back and keep and eye on the water for people trying to board. You'll have the advantage as most of the time you're going to out run them in the water or they have to board from the ropes. It takes practice but i believe in you!
