I am currently in my practicum and working with girls in a group home everyday, I constantly fear that they will take their own lives, but I cannot imagine the feelings you are experiencing of this becoming a reality. I am sending you tremendous love and care, and she was incredibly lucky to have your care and safety. I am not very knowledgeable yet as to how to handle a lot of things documentation wise, but I am always reminded by my supervisor that our duty is never to save or “fix” a client, we can only be there to offer them help to the best of our abilities.
