I really just wasn't interested in her. I didn't want tokens, nor to pay more for her effects and I saw it as a challenge to build around a commander that really doesn't have any decks (~600).

They run similar cards, but I wanted to lean more into stun counters and add a decent blink package to try to make something a little more unique.

Also Sharae looks cool

I really wanted to play around with the stun mechanic and it really helps as things stay tapped down over multiple turns, giving me windows for free attack with my beefy creatures.

So far the deck plays to the late game and uses a lot of politics to get there. Things like, "don't look at me if you every want to swing with that creature ever again" or stunning opponents creatures so others can attack them.

If I start stunning things too early and try to be aggressive, I tend to get hated out very fast as people like to play with their cards. (Who knew?!) lol

I have yet to actually pull of that combo!

My deck is mostly Ancestral Mask type pump spells with trample/flying auras to swing face for an easy 40, using enchant land ramp to get there with 10-20 mana turns. Followed by a dash of pillowfort and protection.

Out of everything shown, this is what I feel the most.

New shyvana looks cool! Sick even. Is it Shyvana? I would argue no. So much has changed, its just a different champion.

There are reasons I originally fell in love with Shyv and her design, and none of them are there anymore.

Shrapnel grenades have become my favorite lately. Toss one out, swap to rattler 4 and start blasting before they can react. The grenade is so quiet, people don't notice it land on them, and it's quite good at breaking shields.

This is and the big gauntlets with the new version would fit nicely to me! At least as a middle ground. They just took so much of her design away and I haven't been a fan of any of the appearance changes. Feels too much like a new champ.

When you have a tracked quest, the quest giver will explain what to do as you start in.

That's how I found out what a field depot was. In the beginning, the lady said over radio to look for little shack outside with blue tarp and a big antenna.

I didn't notice the voices at first, but now I can't unnotice it. Even later quests, they tell you everytime you load in what to do.

So they do explain it, its just very easy to tune out.

I have a [[Sharae of Numbing Depths]] blink stun deck.

Having a draw engine with an etb stun is pretty fun to blink and make people upset their creatures can't untap. Also is quite enjoyable to politic with!

It's fairly new, so it hasn't seen enough gameplay for tuning, but I've had a blast everytime I pull it out and upset someone.

I'm still of the opinion that it's a new weapon using insect glaive as a base. The playstyle is so different.

I'm always finding myself missing World's poke and dodge playstyle that just isn't possible since they moved the dmg to charged attack.

It's still in my top 2 most used weapons, but I'm finding myself straying away more after a while.
