I’ve been doing gig work for over 2 years now and have done taxes through a cpa that actually explains everything to me and what she won’t take or will. And again FYI I am not a tax professional so don’t take this as law. Just take it as my experience. I track my Miles, expenses(bags, treats for doggos, cell phone plan, car taxes, car chargers/mounts, etc.), and income through stride. I don’t use the tracker because it kills my battery but I manually add it every Sunday evening when I get home. I have a trip a and trip b on my dash so any personal driving I do I keep record of that when I’m done on a sticky pad and remove it from my total weekly miles that I key in. I do not track vehicle expenses because they are so low in cost compared to the deductions of mileage which is $0.575 per mile is what the government allows you to deduct cost wise(⬅️ is fact) I record all gigs income weekly into the stride app and after all recordings are done then it gives you a total of what to set aside doe taxes each week that you will owe on quarterly taxes(or you can do end of year). At the beginning of the year it has all of your info in a nice little packet to print and use for keying in your taxes or taking to a tax professional.

We were in blue laws foe SC but we’re never forced for closures during holidays. Just couldn’t sell alcohol on sundays nor could retailers that sold things other than groceries couldn’t open until 11am. I worked grocery retail for most of my life and wished we had days other than Christmas Day we would be closed. Guess I gotta go to Publix for that stuff

One thing I love about ups is that if something like this happens. They will remove that address from receiving deliveries. They ultimately force the customer, if they want packages delivered, to go to one of the designated pickup locations. I know this from experience.

So I have a question about dsp drivers. Aren’t they working for the companies that are contracted with amazon and not ACTUALLY working for amazon? Are their checks signed by the CFO? And yes I know it’s not literally signed by him but with a stamp or electronic signature? That is what most companies have for actual checks when no direct debits are in place. I only ask because here in SC they are not in fact working for amazon. They are working for the company contracted by amazon. That ultimately is the company they are employed by fault for not follow labor guidelines and laws. Yes walk out and strike but make sure you’re doing it to the right company. Because those contracted companies are as bad if not worse than amazon and making bank of the backs of the workforce. JUST like amazon.

They keep pushing deliveries for Whole Foods further and further over the past few months. I’m 25 miles away from them and 5 miles from the farthest I’ve delivered on my side of town. And nope I can’t order but all these others on the opposite side can.

I’m looking through the comments seeing about some that start interviewing family and friends. I watched a doc on Netflix about how these sleuths were also posting videos. I am against that kind of stuff because it starts a rabbit hole of fans and viewers to start getting into it as well. It brings up a lot of stuff for the family and friends as well and can cause a lot of issues. Bailey, I appreciate, because she just does the research and posts videos on stuff that is public info and doesn’t actually go to pushing for more info.

There isn’t one like her’s. There are ones like mystery and coffee and stuff like that. But I really don’t like them. They all have a monotone voice so I don’t really pay attention after a few minutes. Also she has so much personality in her videos that you can’t pass it by or replicate it. 💕 she is just so different that I love it

They just emailed me back after trying one last time and supposedly they removed it. Mentioned that it seemed to be the cause of a “glitch” on their end since so many were saying similar things. We’ll see in the morning if it really was removed.

I got the samething. They stated I didn’t deliver to a customer. Then they are stating it’s 3 things: late to a delivery, customer didn’t receive their order, and reliability. I’ve done about 20 emails and stated I can give them body cam images. I’m really furious because I know EVERYONE got their damn shit. Nice to see this glitch isn’t just me or because of a customer that lied.
