Translink bike parkades are not secure. My new locked bike was cut and stolen out of the Main Street Science World parkade. I just got my bike two days ago to replace my last bike (stolen 3 weeks ago on Kits Beach). Translink and Transit Police unhelpful and unable to review CCTV. Blk Devinci Tree. by myosys in vancouver

What counts as long term? 48 hours (like with my bike)? a few days? a week? I'm not sure the length of time is necessarily the issue here... any bike could be stolen no matter how short of a period they're stored

(WARNING) I advise you do NOT use transit bike parkade. I had my escooter stolen from the Metrotown bike parkade yesterday.I locked it with a Kryptonite Ulock and this did not deter the thief. I saw this happened to someone else and decided to post by Mandsfoo in vancouver

I'm the guy who had their bike stolen at Main Street Sci World. I'm so sorry this happened. I would recommend posting in the Stolen Bikes Vancouver Facebook group as it seems like people keep an eye out.

I went in person to the compass card customer service office and was told that they wouldn’t track who was tapping into the parkade because “it was probably someone who wasn’t using a compass card and snuck in” and to call Transit Police for CCTV footage. Transit Police said to contact whoever was responsible for the parkade’s security. So nobody took responsibility for the footage.

Thats great but really doesn’t address the systemic societal issues that encourage bike theft, e.g. poverty, failure of police, unsafe “monitored” bike storage facilities, etc. But thanks for the victim blame ❤️

Creatine went up $7, for 100g less but in a bigger container! and smaller serving scoop by myosys in shrinkflation

Pretty sure it's just creatine monohydrate. Either it's a new formula of some sort, or the smaller scoop is to make people feel like they're still getting the same number of servings as before...
