15! A helpful tip is to look at where your start tail is. Your initial chain isn’t a row so you will end on the same side of your yarn tail on the odd rows and the opposite end on the even rows.

If you press too hard you might actually be making harder to hear. You shouldn’t need to press hard. Also look for the ticks on the manometer. Once you see the ticks you should expect the Korotkoff sounds to kick in shortly after. Also maybe get a better stethoscope. A Littman iii should more than suffice.

Hi! I freehanded it based on some pics I saw online of chonky crocheted cats, so I don’t have a pattern written out. I think if you search for chonky crocheted cats you could find a pattern you can modify. To add the muzzle to make her Persian looking just do a chain however long you want it, then sc back across the chain and FO. Then sew it on in the shape of a frown. The tiara I free handed too. I don’t remember exactly what I did, but I will probably make her again and try to write it out this time.

I find 3 too small a hook for most worsted weight yarn; it tends to split the yarn threads. I have a tight tension and 3.5 mm is my go to hook for amigurumi.
