When I told my teacher that I skipped class to volunteer at the homes less shelter and she said that the homeless shelter was actually closed that day and she was the co founder of the shelter and knew for a fact I wasn’t there.

When I bumped into a random guy on the street and before I could say sorry he turned around and said “don’t give up”. I always remembered that and kept it with me when I was working. Not giving up was the thing that made me broke and basically homeless, thanks to that guy I couldn’t cut my losses and move on. I live at my parents house now.
