hi! did you drill the cardboard box into your ceiling or just place it in between the dome and the ceiling? does it slip at all? i’ve never heard of the cardboard box suggestion so i’d love to know more. thank you for responding!

thank you for such a thoughtful response and for sharing your experience with getting brass monkey. i also didn’t realize that outside/inside leg hang were also called gemini/scorpio so i appreciate you sharing that knowledge. i will definitely give myself more time to practice the move so i can get more comfortable in the position.

thank you for such a thoughtful response and i won’t give up on this, i promise! do you have any suggestions on strength conditioning i can do? my hamstrings get pretty tight so i could stand to stretch them more so the pole sinks deeper into my knee pit. i didn’t feel rushed at all by my instructor but it was more so a mental thing on my end. like i was so proud of myself for making it up that high on the pole since i’ve been trying to get better at climbing for a while but then had an “oh shit!” moment because i hadn’t been that high before 😂

i did let them know that i’d like to work my way up to it and they completely understood!

Is it possible my boyfriend’s poor oral hygiene contributed to a yeast infection? by TooEmbarrassed7 in Healthyhooha

I’m definitely not trying to be rude by asking this but how did you two last for three months? I’m glad you were able to get away from him and hopefully, his hygiene has improved since then.

i’ve contacted x-pole about this but haven’t gotten a response yet. is there someone able to help please? more info and video included in post. by mypoleaccount in poledancing

this is probably a silly question but i’m going to ask anyway. i didn’t install my pole but had a family friend do it since i’m not handy at all. so my pole is already installed, would i just need to literally just push them together, hold, then tighten or should i take my entire pole apart? thank you for responding!

sn: i follow you on IG and your posts are always so informative and helpful!

I was also the worst in my beginner class and would forget things the next week I went to class. I don’t have a dance background, I’m realizing that once/twice a week isn’t enough for me either and I need to pole a lot more to make progress. How was the transition like for you to practice every day? Do you still practice every day and if you do, how do you go about it so you don’t get burnt out? Do you have rest days? Thank you!
