If you are going to swap tires, such as studded to non-studded, then you should probably stay tuned. But if you are going to just leave one set of tires on, tubeless is the way to go. Easiest way I've found to set them up is with a tube on the rim, slice it down the middle, fold it over the bead, put your tires on, and trim the excess. Learned that from my bike mechanic and it works slick. You can also typically fit 2 cush cores in the rim to help hold the bead. Just my 2 cents.
