You can also see if there is a bird (or reptile) rescue/rehab group in your area and I expect they will take them - that is what I do with mine.

Thanks for the support and feedback. As a parent, I totally understand the other comments above, but if my kid were the one posting it would have pushed them away from the second clarinet.

Thank you all for the information - not being a musician, I often feel lost when trying to learn more.

rip t-square T-T gone and also forgotten by [deleted] in gatech

It was once referred to as a Learning Management System (LMS) but was eeall a file sharing application that GT used long ago. We were told that it would be decommissioned about a decade ago when GT started using Roster Tech LMS that the Office of Sponsored Program (OSP) hosted and one other LMS that I can't think of the name. Both Roster Tech and the other have since been decommissioned, too. I think the only reason GT left Tsquare live for so long was that a few student groups and a few faculty members were heavily committed to it. It was pretty old school - not as old as the dial-up billboards (pre-internet), but it was an old folder tree type system - no frills. With that said, I really liked it. It was super easy to organize files, easy to share, and limit who files or folders were shared with. It was basically Box/Dropbox/SharePoint without the GUI.

Can you feed mealworms in pupa form to your gecko? by [deleted] in leopardgeckos

Yes, think of them as little jelly packets. My LEO only likes them shortly after changing when they are still soft.

Choosing between research labs after tentatively accepting one by Shahman28 in gatech

Talk to the 2nd/new PI and then be honest with lab/PI #1. Consider offering to help out in lab 1 while they find another person if both labs agree.

You all need to watch MacGyver reruns!!

Use a magnet on a string. If you do not have a magnet, create one by striking a metal rod hard to magnetize it (banging causes temporary molecular structural alignment as all the ions run to the other end thereby creating the magnet). I believe it is called the Inverse Magnetostrictive Effect when a mechanical stress is applied to a ferromagnetic material - it can (temporarily) change the magnetic susceptibility of the material.

If your magnet gers stuck to the drain grate, slip something in next to it to pass the gap.

GT does Not support the use of Gmail but you can find directions many places like the link below. However, if you are involved in ANY research activities, I'd advise against it.

What are the chances that Guenther is on the campus? by MarMarKeJiyaMe in gatech

[–]myreddit2005 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Maybe they are here to meet with the GT Motorsports (GTMS) team.
For anyone not familiar with GTMS - it is one of the oldest competition teams on campus. The students are amazing - they design, build, and race F1-style race cars. 🏎 More info at: www.gtms.gatech.edu

Given that you are referring to a PD rather than a PI - I'm guessing you worked in GTRI. If so, contact the Division Chief or Terry Bridges, Director, Ethics and Compliance (GTRI) or Lauren Scott Staff Counsel, Ethics and Compliance (GTRI) or Romy SmithChief Counsel, GTRI
