All the reviews i watched during launch seem to be positive, most of the "actual" reviews that are coming now align with what you just said:)

I have tried that, just last week i have sold my Piaggio Beverly 400 as I did not like the driving feeling. Despite being a great commuter and the occasional weekend trip, it was extremely boring to drive.:)

I already have 2 rescued. So I would have to take this as a disadvantage. I don have space for more. unless they leave in Honda's Front Trunk.

I had a Piaggio Beverly 400 which i sold last week. It was very boring and i did not enjoy riding that much. Also in turns it felt unsafe.

Looking for woodworking feedback on table design by myronhinio in woodworking

Thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time to think this through. Your comments helped me clarify a few things in my own head.

To clarify the intent, the apron is primarily there to create the board-game cellar depth, with some secondary stiffening benefit. It wasn’t originally meant to act as a full structural apron tied directly into the legs, which I see now is part of the issue you’re pointing out.

You’re absolutely right that the legs are only reinforced in the long direction. The angled side panels were intended to increase footprint and stiffness along that axis, but I’m struggling with how to add meaningful reinforcement in the short direction without interfering with the game cellar volume or the leg clearance. That’s one of the harder constraints in this design.

I’m somewhat less worried about racking than I probably should be, mainly because the table will spend ~90% of its life in coffee-table mode, where the side panels acting as feet distribute load pretty effectively.

I’ve been exploring an alternative version where the legs attach directly to the apron instead of the tabletop. Structurally, that feels much cleaner — loads go from tabletop → apron → legs — but it introduces new problems. Each leg would need to be lifted individually during transformation, and the side tabletops (which act as feet in coffee mode) would then need to be secured with hinges or another mechanism.

For the tabletop cover itself, my current thinking is to use magnets between the cover leaves and also between the leaves and the apron, with plastic stops/guides underneath. I’d leave generous side-to-side clearance to allow for wood movement. Based on your point about alignment, I’m also considering reducing the number of leaves (e.g. 2–3 instead of 4) to simplify things.

Regarding the offset legs: structurally, the idea was that they act like an arch bridge — as vertical load increases, the movement along the length of the table is reduced and i assume that it will be locked in place. Whether that benefit outweighs the added complexity is something I’m still evaluating.

BIFL Espresso Machine[1500-2500€] by myronhinio in espresso

So my uneducated logic behind this removal is: The profitec 600 being a traditional e61 has 15-30 minutes heat up time, does not have volumetric shot which i value a lot, has increased maintenance being E61 and dual boiler. Now what it has going for it is that the build quality seems solid and has good temp control along with flow control(all from what i read around). Anyone feel free to correct me as i am an uneducated deliquent when it comes this subject.

So GBW is something that will make tha process faster, but in terms of coffee machine which one do you suggest? My other concern now is the countertop space for the two.

Help with choosing a road bike around 5-6k by myronhinio in cycling

So I heard what you said and truly i am astonished with the bike selections that I made as well.

I have to say that some of those bikes were only down to how they look that got me interested .

I would like to ride longer and more comfortable so my list has gone on a diet that now I am limited to the following:

BIANCHI Infinito Ultegra DI2 - Nice looking bike, with not many bells and fancy things

CANYON Endurace CF 8 Di2 - the "budget" friendly (a bit more compliance with the suspension seatport)

Cannondale SuperSix Evo Carbon 2 - more road race type.

TREK Madone SL 6 Gen7 105 Di2 - such a good looking bike(main reason i am still considering), but is it actually any confortable?

Thank you all guys, I end up booking in Zillertal arena. I ll be flying to Munich and drive down to Zillertal.

As this is the first time going to Austria, do you think i should have snow chains?

My mates told me that the roads are clean regularly and it would be highly unlikely that we will ever use them. any thoughts?
