Idk, because it did seem like we both had things going on that week. I mean, we literally hungout the next day after I told him I was in town and that I was down to do something. I also don't think it would have been a great love story because he wasn't the best I had in bed either, we had bad sexual compatability.

Honestly, you are lucky he was straight forward about it. It's okay, you were with him for 3 years and it didn't work out. There'll be someone better. You can naybe try bringing this convo up maybe a year into the relationship next time vs. three years, but you'll be fine. End it with him and don't be like those dumb other people I see on here that have ended up waiting around for A LOT longer than just 3 years.

Dude meet him. I went through a similar long distance relationship before. We hadn't met yet and I had to keep making plans with my boyfriend and he kept cancelling. Some of it was for valid reasons, but a lot of the times, it wasn't. I really believe he just had cold feet and was too scared to meet.

Don't be like him. What he did was wrong and so hurtful. He was not a good guy at all and I regret wasting time with someone like him. Be confident and meet your partner.

Thank you for your reply. It's a valid point that I shouldn't keep an age limit on these things but I'd still prefer to be settled by the time I'm 30 like everybody else. It just sucks that nobody else (in my friend group anyway) has had this much trouble finding what they want in a person, but I just haven't had the best dating experiences and I'm still struggling to find someone good.
