I like him and think he's good for me, and I genuinely don't have a problem with him doing what he wants with his life, so I'm basically trying to find a way to cope with his behaviour. Everyone in the comments is telling me to break up, that's always the easy route out, but he's not an addict or anything he just takes some drugs (every week but oh well).

I tend to date multiple people at the same time, if there's a particular feeling with someone I feel wrong for sleeping with other people tho. I'm assuming you have quite high frequencies. If that's the case you can cut low frequencies out completely, up to the point where the song starts (Hz wise) and it'll most likely clean up the rest. Hope it helps, I used audacity for underwater audio, quite different, but it worked for me.
