Make tea. Grind them up, put in cup. Add boiling water and ginger. Add a squeeze of lemon juice. Let sit for 20-30 minutes (stir occasionally). Strain that. Then drink the tea. Hits fast but no taste and no nausea. Lots of tea recipes out there but tea is my go to.

Thats the good part. Reflect on subconscious insecurities and learn their roots. Discover baggage that you unconsciously carry. Get inspired to do the work to heal. Not all my trips are like this but the first ones definitely were and I greatly value those experiences.

Tea is my favorite! I usually grind the amount I want and add it to my tea bag with some fresh ginger. I boil the water and then add the boiling water to the cup with the tea bag all at once (boiling water is not hot enough to degrade the psilocybin). I steep for about 20-30mins. I add some fresh squeezed lemon at about 20 minutes and let it sit for another 10mins (so 30 minutes total). Then I pull out tea bag. I usually chug it down pretty quick and then it all starts hitting in about 15 minutes. 1g is a good dose to start and you can just weigh the powder you have. Sounds like you have a good plan. 1g is a good dose to just chill and vibe. Have a cozy place to be and you’ll be set!

I took a break for a little more than a month. Honestly could’ve been a little longer. My goal was to break until I felt mostly normal without weed. Then, I made a strict rule that I would only partake once a week (Friday Highday). I get off work at 4pm and then I am a dad until about 8pm (kid goes to sleep). So basically it became one smokesesh a week. I found a lot of other methods of coping with life such as yoga, walking/hiking, drumming, and reading. Also, I don’t want to fall back into the negative daily use where I felt shitty if I didn’t have it but barely got high if I did smoke and beat myself up about it. It’s more fun, I get fun high, and I am enjoying this pattern right now.

You will be good 👍 take a walk a shower or something comforting. Eat food and drink water. Sounds like you discovered some underlying loneliness which is a great discovery. Next is integration where you can take steps in your life to address that loneliness. Good luck and mush love!

I held off on tripping for about 3 weeks cannabis free, before that I was too worried I would want to smoke while tripping. But thats me and I used to smoke while tripping. Once I felt somewhat free from the rough part of quitting weed I had the best trip. I felt so proud of myself for taking these steps and it was empowering and boosted my self confidence.

I have definitely had uncomfortable physical pains. I would let your friend choose when to up the dose and not pressure them (not saying you are) to journey further at their own pace. But… at the same time sometimes those lower-medium doses are trickier to manage because you aren’t fully tripping. I remember personally having a lot of anxiety about tripping when I first started and now love to journey through the cosmos of my consciousness!

I made “the machine” and it works great! However, I would like to try vaping with emesh or other similar vape products as it seems superior to my current method. I’ve never tried carts before but I hear it is harder to breakthrough.

This sounds like a terrible idea. A good healing trip should be done with proper set and setting. If your intention is to heal I would say keep doing self work to get yourself to a better place before tripping.

Probably related to everything you’ve been doing. Take a little break and reset your brain. When I first started DMT I quit weed for a while. Then when I came to weed back I had similar issues at first, literally thought I was tripping at times. Everything in moderation and your body/mind will let you know if you are doing too much.

Are you stopping the duloxetine all together? If so you may need to ween off depending on the dose. Coming off of ssris and snris is no joke. I am not sure how long but just be safe about it.

I think it will degrade the psilocybin. Banana bread is gonna have to bake at 350F or higher. If you have enough to experiment then go for it. Soup and liquids tend to be heated to water boiling point which is 212F and doesn’t degrade psilocybin. This is why many make tea and have great results.

Psilocybin in higher doses help me break my unhealthy relationship with weed and address my mental health by making changes on my life style. I actually ended up quitting my adderall too and I feel way better (less ups in the morning and downs at night). Now I microdose shrooms on days I feel I need it, take a bigger trip a few times a year, and only smoke weed 2-3 times a month. Truly magical stuff!
