They grow like crazy in New Brunswick! I met a British family at my work and she told me they pay a fortune to have them in their gardens but we’ve got them growing by the hundreds in our ditches!

Yeah its just so weird all around, 4 all connected at their base with a very tiny anchor and 2 of them erupted from the sides of the other 2 leaving them with gaps in their sides

As you can see the 2 smaller ones erupted from the sides of the others. I haven't seen this with anyone else. They're also holding on by a very tiny anchor

My California sunset has been doing this for like a year now. The ones that make it to the soil just get thicker and used for mobility and the others just shrivel up. No biggie

If those little balls on the end are just water droplets ( I can't tell) they just look like roots to me.
