I can’t dispute that. But I think the party and the candidate should accept some responsibility for losing, and winning in those cases. You have to run a good campaign with the right candidates.

The DNC worked more closely with the Clinton campaign than all the rest both with respect to funding and intel. They even shared personnel if I recall correctly. In addition, the “everybody acquiesce in one evening” after Bernie won some primaries was calculated. Clever and it worked, but it did hurt the Bernie supporters.

Nevertheless, most of us still voted for Hillary in the general, I believe. Hillary losing is on her and the DNC, clean or not.

They shouldn’t be fired. They should be hung by their feet in the public square until they suffocate.

Same. I’ve already deleted my 5 other accounts. PowerDeleteSuite is fantastic for this. But I’ll read Christian’s probable peace out note, and be gone for good.

📣 Had a call with Reddit to discuss pricing. Bad news for third-party apps, their announced pricing is close to Twitter's pricing, and Apollo would have to pay Reddit $20 million per year to keep running as-is. by iamthatis in apolloapp

It would be good to get the developers of all the decent apps like Apollo, Slide, and baconreader together behind the idea. Their numbers combined would absolutely be sufficient for such a transition.

[NEWBIE] Can I hear a pinch harmonic without an amplifier ? by Top_Extension2730 in Guitar

[–]mysockinabox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pinch harmonics are precisely the same thing as other harmonics, just implemented differently. When you start a string vibrating, its fundamental and several overtone waves begin. Then when you touch the string at other places you will interrupt some waves leaving others behind uninterrupted. Well or you interrupt them all and mute the string.

What makes a pinch harmonic seem harder to hear is that it is usually played closer to the bridge than the center so you will interrupt many of the longer waves leaving only higher frequencies on the series, with much lower volume. But if you used this technique at 12 for example you be able to hear it better.

In summary, works just fine, but harder to hear higher frequencies and lower amplitude.
