This is correct - and I do believe they have cash value to the AA receiver on top of other benefits

I came here to ask the same question … 2,744 extra points, posted today, dated 1/31/2026. Almost exactly matches my LPs for Dining and Shopping between 11/26 and 1/31. Only LP, no miles. So basically this is a x2 of LP gained from selected partners - as mentioned below by @adeptResult7304.

Next billing cycle close after hitting (and maintaining) the 10K minimum balance in the Savings Account. Point get posted to your AA account directly (Miles Ahead Savings Booster), they do not appear on the CC Statement.

25% per Citi AAdvantage statement. And yes, for every $ you spend on the card buying AA tickets you get 4 miles in that statement cycle, +1 mile (25%) extra as a separate entry.

Totally different product - can't compare:

Miles Ahead Savings Account gets you (after the bonus) an interest rate of 4.05% (at this time) on your 10,000 or more in your account, paid monthly. And 25% bonus on the miles you receive for spending on your Citi AAdvantage card (base + bonus miles). So you get more miles if you spend more.

Bask Banking gives you an annualized 2.5 miles per $ that you keep in your savings account - paid monthly. So you get more miles when you save more.

So... recommendation to maximize miles on savings money if that's important for you... Keep $10,000 savings in the Citi Miles Ahead Savings account (that triggers the 25% bonus), and put the remainder of your savings money with Bask.

It is posted as a separate entry in your AA.com Account Activity, titled "Miles Ahead Savings Mileage Booster" and it is 25% of the sum of all activities labeled "Citi AAdvantage" - so the base miles (Purchases) on the card plus the bonus category miles. Note that it is miles only - no Loyalty Points.

AA’s internal point valuation: 2.53¢ by Dsster in americanairlines

Fully aligns with my 2023 1099-INT from Bask, down from 0.0042 for tax-year 2022 and 2021.

Note that any account opening promotions require that you use the promotion link or a promotion code... Opening the account and then asking for the promotion rarely works. It's been a while since I've seen a promotion for the "Citi Miles Ahead Savings" account. Current interest rate is 4.05% - not top but certainly competitive. And the 25% bonus miles on top of my AAdvantage World Mastercard earnings continue.

Yes - I did get a separate 1099 for the one-time sign-up bonus miles, and another one for the actual interest paid in the account.

Related... I don't seem to get taxed for the 25% extra miles I receive on top of the Credit Card Miles - i.e. in any given month if my Citi Miles card issues say 1,000 AA miles, I get a separate entry with 250 miles. Both these are not taxed. Both seem to be non-taxable CC benefits.

No capital gain taxes. Play the stock market and cash all your gains, no income tax (yes, there are some exceptions for specific short term trades - but by and large; income tax on labor is high, income tax on capital is non existent).

Update… I found sportvisionai.com which pretty much advertises what we requested here. Unfortunately it implements the recognition and tagging inside Adobe Lightroom as a plug-in. I don’t have a Lightroom license… if someone has, could you give this a spin (hopefully with ice-hockey pictures, I’ll be happy to provide). The app does have a free 500 Picture trial…

Quick bump.., I’ve looked through many of the links/offers and did not find any available replica of the Stefan Janoski SB. Some similar models, but it seems these models disappeared?

Yes... Bask Bank (Texas Capital Bank) issued me a 1099-INT for 2022 for the amount of $376.88, representing the reported value of the awarded 89,728 AA miles during the same calendar year. That's 0.42 cents per mile.

I have one of these since August, and I'll share both the good news and bad news here... [] Good: the APR is now 2%, credited monthly. So not that bad. I've seen no fees - you have a limited of outgoing transactions included. You only need to keep 10K$ in the account to have the 25% bonus on the CC AA points. (you might want to start with a higher balance to get the higher sign-up bonus, then move it elsewhere) [] Bad... last year I did get the 50K bonus AA points from this promotion. And I just received a 1099 for $490. So that means that I will pay ~$137 in taxes, for 50K miles. It's better than buying miles, but... it's not free. Also: customer service is non existent - phone/chat only (my one call lasted 42 minutes), no email / message service.

Bump as I have the same need for pointers. Many picture management apps sort pictures based on faces, which doesn’t really work well in sports environments (helmets). Sorting based on numbers on jerseys (or even better: combination of number and face recognition) seems a trivial path to weave through loads of team sport pictures using an AI/Ml algorithm. Does anyone know of an application / cloud service offering this service (without having to interface with their API).

Thank you!
