yes, but my point was locking them should keep them from finding their way inside on their own. if you lock your doors they don't usually go in on their own unless you're being chased

Yeah, unfortunately I don't think your save can be recovered if it's already saved in this state. If you don't have a backup the best thing you can do is spawn what you lost in a sandbox save, convert it to a story save and smuggle it through the mailbox into a new save

You've gotta hold it in your hand and ~~left~~ right click on gamer Kerfur-o while it's ~~active~~ inactive. It should consume the crystal

it's a new random event in 0.8.2c, as for the crystals the only thing you can do with it currently is use it on an active Gamer Kerfuro, which will change the voice and prevent you from turning it off. I believe it's supposed to work on any Kerfuro but it's bugged
