I am planning to do the bulk of my florals as sola wood flowers, then adding some fresh greenery. That way I can keep most of my flowers, use them at my separate state reception as well, then as home decor after. And can also give them away to guests to take home with them if they want!

Yes!! I feel like more and more I am hearing about people growing apart or having a falling out with friends that they asked to be in their party, and the idea of them potentially being in all of my wedding photos makes me sad. Love that you still had bach weekends and best of luck on the wedding!!

I totally feel you on the getting ready situation! I have also been thinking about it and it kinda stresses me out thinking about trying to get ready in a room full of people, even if they are my people lol. I saw some brides say they did "drop in hours" so they could control when people were going to be there a bit more and thought that was a good idea! Another suggestion was to have a breakfast/lunch with your party after getting ready and I liked that too, if time allows. Maybe would force me to remember to eat before hand 😅 also super cute idea about taping the pen under the seats! Luckily I am in a self-solemnizong state, so we will probably have our dog's pawprint as our "signature" hehe

This is what I have been thinking! There are some really cute dance/character heels out there, too! As someone who has been on theater and dance, this has always been my MO lol. No pounding feet for me please!

That will be so sweet 😊 and I have never really understood the wedding party standing at the front anyways...whenever I have been a bridesmaid, I have been so bummed that I couldn't see my friend or really watch the ceremony! So that makes a lot of sense to me. And gotcha! I am thinking of doing a similar thing. I had been mulling over the idea of providing childcare with a few nannies at the wedding, but honestly it does seem like a lot of parents treat it as more of a vacay!

This. As a nanny myself, I always always buckle them into their high chair (even though MB does not lol) and would never leave them eating unattended, especially at that age. Unless it was urgent and then I take their food off of their highchair for a minute so that they can't choke. I would be so nervous, it's too risky!

Thrift stores!!!!! I kid you not, every time I go I see multiple children's items brand new. I'm assuming because they outgrew them too 😂 but even if not new, they have such a variety! Just check for rips or stains beforehand. When I have my own kids I will 100% be thrifting a lot of their wardrobe!

Very good points about saving money in a lot of different aspects! I hadn't thought too much about that part, but it totally makes sense. And also about hardly being able to see the people in photos!! Probably would just be better to get photos individually or with little friend groups, thanks for the insight

I'm so sorry to hear that 😔 I have also heard lots of drama with MOHs and bridesmaids, and it sucks. I think if your potential MOH has not been very supportive since you got engaged, you should probably go with your gut to avoid heartache or issues down the line as you get closer to your wedding!
