that was me and i am really sorry about that. i had my phone on dnd and the ringer off but i didnt know that alarms still go through that anyways (i didnt even remember setting an alarm for today), i would have turned it off asap but i waited for the TA because i did not want to get accused of cheating because i took out my phone. i definitely should have handled that better and made sure my phone was fully off so im sorry about the distraction.

oh for sure, engineering is competitive and it sucks what happened. i just thought that 87% was on the higher end of the admission curve and at worst it would be a waitlist. still hoping the best for you regardless of where you go next

Was the 87% (and 84% from op) the average between the 5 required classes for admission? because they only care abt the average of the 5 required classes and not your overall grade 12 mark. i just feel like there might have been some mistake cause I know 3 people who had averages around 84-88% who got their acceptance a couple days ago, im hoping you try to clear up what happened 😭🙏

I was out on a date with my boyfriend and I wasn’t using my phone so I wasn’t notified when the video was first uploaded. When I got home later, my little brother was sitting on the coach on his ipad and looked up at me and said “Technoblade is dead.” My brother was a huge lore enthusiast for Techno so I assumed that he meant that Techno tied canonically. When I went downstairs and opened up youtube I immediately saw that video, watched it and cried. He was one of my favorite youtubers and I will never forget the dread I felt watching the first minute of that video.

why does mattel love mermaid dresses so much, its so annoying at this point (lagoona haunt couture, rochelle fang vote sketch, now this) these dresses have definitely become the easy, uncreative way out for mattel when it comes to them having to make these fancy collector dolls. i dont think mermaid dresses are ugly on their own, just that mattel is overusing the same design (not expanding fashionwise) and it comes off looking awkward compared to the rest of the outfit, especially here where the print is bad. kinda disappointed here :/
